Toronto, ON – March 26, 2018 –  DJ Kass has signed with Groundwerk via Entertainment One to release several singles. Additionally, he releases a video for his current, catchy viral hit, Scooby Doo Pa Pa, today.  The track is unstoppable, with more and more fans uploading dance videos on Instagram. It is the first Dominican Dembow, a specific Caribbean music genre, to reach the Top 10 on Billboard's Latin charts and have a worldwide audience.  Watch the video here.

Scooby Doo Pa Pa is currently #10 on several charts: Billboard Hot Latin Chart (#10), the Latin Digital Chart (#9), and the Latin Streaming Chart (#6).  Moreover, the song is streamed a quarter of a million times daily with support from several Spotify playlists, including Lo Que Suena: New York, Exitos Mexico, Teen Party, and Apple playlists including The A-List: Urbano Latino, Pure Fuego, and Today's Hits.

DJ Kass, New York born and raised, with Dominican Republic roots, was inspired by his father, who was a well-known local DJ. Fascinated by his father’s use of various instruments to move crowds, Kass was hooked from an early age.  Like all great artists who were empowered by a passion to create art, Kass practiced his DJing skills relentlessly. He distinguishes himself from the other DJs is the controlled “craziness,” as he likes to call it. “What separates me from others is the craziness I bring to the table. I am very spontaneous and do a lot of crazy things when it comes to getting the crowd hype.”
