Toronto, ON – May 11, 2018 – Today, JUNO Award-winning singer and songwriter, William Prince, releases his new single, Breathless, off his re-released debut album, Earthly Days, via Glassnote Records. Premiering with CBC q, the smoky, deep roots song was produced by Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell, etc.) and is the perfect introduction to the worldwide re-release of Prince’s full-length debut record. Prince’s music has been described as full of emotionally charged experiences that linger in memories. Raised on the Peguis First Nation of Manitoba, Prince has been honing his craft since the age of nine when he first picked up the guitar and piano. His biggest inspirations include Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and most significantly, his preacher and musician father.

Alongside producer/collaborator, Scott Nolan, Prince recorded the original version of Earthly Days in just ten days throughout 2010. He has garnered honours such as Aboriginal Artist of the Year at the 2016 Western Canadian Music Awards and Contemporary Roots Album of the Year at the 2017 JUNO Awards. In a full-circle moment, Prince inducted Bruce Cockburn into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame and earned praise from not just Cockburn, but fellow inductee, Neil Young.

2018 will see William Prince boldly take the next step on his journey. This new enhanced version of Earthly Days is just the beginning.
