PERFORMING AT REGINA FOLK FEST THIS SATURDAY

CONTINUES SOLITUDES TOUR IN QUEBEC, UNITED STATES AND FRANCE
 

Toronto, ON – August 7, 2018 – This weekend at Osheaga Music Festival in Montreal, Matt Holubowski was presented with a Gold Record certification plaque to mark 40,000 Solitudes albums sold. Surrounded by friends and collaborators, he was visibly moved to accept this exceptional distinction presented by Audiogram.

“The last three years have been an absolutely magical journey,” says Holubowski. “We traveled, we made music in such inspiring and varied situations and we worked like crazy. Quite frankly, I had no idea what I was getting into when launched Solitudes. It was more incredible and beautiful and difficult than I could’ve ever imagined. A huge thanks to all those people to whom this record really belongs and thanks to those who have been there for past 2 years. I love you so much.”

Holubowski is currently on tour in North America, and will be heading to the United States next month to present his repertoire to his US fans. He will perform in New York, Washington, Philadelphia and Boston, as a double feature with American artist,   Vera Sola. He will then travel to France in October to perform five tour dates as the opening act for Swiss singer-songwriter, Sophie Hunger.
