Toronto, ON – May 7, 2020 – Glowing with catchy pop hooks, Rachel Beck’s distinctive piano melodies and emotive vocals have been captivating audiences across Canada. Today, she announces the anticipated release of her sophomore offering, Stronger Than You Know, set to drop on June 12. Produced by Daniel Ledwell at Echo Lake in Nova Scotia, the record is a celebration of strength and resilience – a gentle call to action, to stand up, to speak out, to be present, and to love fiercely. The album is available for pre-order here, with the uplifting title track, and powerful lead single, Warrior, available now.

Intimate and close, the six-track EP is sonically decorated amidst compelling electronic rhythms and dreamy synth layers. Beck’s vocals float across the harmony-laden, ethereal soundscape for which she has become known.
Stronger Than You Know follows Beck’s self-titled debut, which garnered multiple award nominations and wins, including two 2019 Music PEI Awards for Pop Recording of the Year, and New Artist of the Year, as well as two 2019 ECMA nominations for Pop Recording of the Year, and Rising Star Recording of the Year. The album’s lead single, Reckless Heart, hit #1 on the CBC Music Top 20 Chart in 2018, earning Beck a SOCAN #1 Award. Tour highlights include performing for Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, appearing twice at the legendary Stan Rogers Folk Festival, opening the 2019 ECMA Gala Awards Show, and playing beautiful festivals and stages from the Rogue Folk Club in Vancouver, BC to the Imperial Theatre in Saint John, NB.
