SAM TUCKER RELEASES NEW TRACK CALIFORNIA QUEEN

SONG TO APPEAR ON NEW EP
SET FOR RELEASE THIS FALL

ON TOUR IN QUEBEC THROUGH 2018
WITH MORE DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON

Toronto, ON – May 31, 2018 – Quebec-based singer-songwriter, Sam Tucker, has shared California Queen, a brand new track from his forthcoming EP, which is set for release this fall. Have a listen to the song here.

“I’m very happy to release my second single, California Queen,” says Tucker. “Thanks to all the amazing talent who came together in studio to put this song together in time for the summer. Get the windows down, volume up, and go for a ride!”

Like his first single, Powder Fame, Tucker recorded the new track with producer, Rob Heaney (Franklin Electric, Patrick Watson), and was accompanied by Joe Grass on guitar, Mishka Stein on bass, and Robbie Kuster on drums.

Tucker will be bringing his new songs to the stage this summer, with a free show at the Montreal International Jazz Festival on June 28th, and then in Quebec City on July 15th during the Summer Festival. More tour dates will be announced soon.

Born in Retford, England, Tucker moved to Gaspésie, QC three years ago as part of an internship in linguistics – falling in love with the region. It was in Gaspé that he began to perfect and perform his own compositions. His inimitable swagger and impressive voice is already turning heads, as Tucker impressed both the judges and the audience during his stint on the popular television show, La Voix, in 2017, where he joined the ranks of Pierre Lapointe’s team.
