RADIO 1 BIG WEEKEND (MAIN STAGE) AND
CAPITAL SUMMERTIME BALL SHOWS ANNOUNCED

Toronto, ON – May 24, 2019 – BRIT-nominated British DJ, producer and artist, Sigala, alongside UK artist, Becky Hill, as vocalist and songwriter, released their new single Wish You Well today via Ministry of Sound.

Wish You Well is the first set of new music from Sigala following the release of his debut album, Brighter Days, that came out in the autumn of last year. The album featured Lullaby, the sixth most played track on UK radio last year, and the number one single Easy Love, while Brighter Days is already a BRIT Certified Breakthrough album, officially silver status selling over 60K in the UK alone, and was the highest charting dance debut album of last year.

British Artist and Songwriter, Becky Hill, is one of the UK’s upcoming stars and hit makers, known for writing and singing soul-stirring tracks like False Alarm,  with Matoma, UK #1 single, Gecko (Overdrive), with Oliver Heldens, certified Platinum top ten hit, Afterglow, with Wilkinson, and 2018’s UK top 20 gold certified hit,Back & Forth, with Jonas Blue and MK, which was Becky’s second collaboration with MK, following the pair’s success with their 2016 Gold certified hit, Piece of Me at over 75 million streams. 2018 single, Sunrise In The East, and latest single, I Could Get Used To This,  have received praise from tastemakers including Popjustice, Scott Mills and Annie Mac.

Speaking of the new music, Sigala said, “I have had so much fun working on this new track. Growing up I was massively into trance, from the likes of Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren. I took inspiration from this part of my life for my new track Wish You Well. I have always wanted to work with Becky, we just needed the right song, and we both love this one so much, I hope everyone enjoys it too!”

Having played a sold-out UK headline tour to coincide with the album release, Sigala has announced he will be playing Radio 1’s Big Weekend on the May 25, the Capital Summertime Ball on the June 8 and will be headlining the Capital Weekender Stage at the SW4 festival on August 24.
