CANADIAN CHARITIES HIGHLIGHTED EACH DAY

Toronto, ON – March 13, 2017 – Just four more sleeps until Stouffville, Ontario’s Earl of Whitchurch is transformed into a 24/7 concert hall! On March 17^th at 7:00pm, Canada will kick off what is to become the world’s Longest Concert by Multiple Artists. Months of organization by Kevin Ker and Epidemic Music Group, along with a massive group of industry leaders, passionate volunteers, sponsors, charities and music lovers, have gone into preparing for this record-breaking event, and now the time is nearly upon us.

Over 400 Canadian musical acts will be hitting the stage at the Earl throughout the 16+ days. Audiences (which, according to the Guinness rules and regulations for this record, can never drop below 10 people at any given point) will be treated to a diverse line-up of musical performances, spanning genres from rock, pop, country, folk, and beyond, as well as some exciting special guests. In addition to stellar live music, each day will showcase and highlight a different Canadian charity – helping to bring awareness and support to important organizations across the country. A list of the participating charities, and the day they will be highlighted, can be found below.

Response to the world record attempt has been massive, from local businesses, to politicians, to residents. With rallying support extending from beyond the community of Stouffville, to a nation excited to watch an incredible event unfold in its 150^th year, this has truly become Canada’s event.
