NEW ALBUM RATTLESNAKE OUT MARCH 29^th

Toronto, ON – February 26, 2019 – The snow might still be coming down, but The Strumbellas already have big plans to make the sun shine! Fans, get ready for an unforgettable concert from The Strumbellas, along with special guests, Dan Mangan, Donovan Woods, and Dizzy, on July 6^th at The Arboretum at Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton, presented by MRG Concerts. Ticket pre-sales begin tomorrow (Wednesday, February 27) at 10:00 a.m. EST, with public on-sale this Friday, March 1. Ticket information can be found below.

The Strumbellas are set to release their fourth album, Rattlesnake, on March 29^th – out in Canada via the band’s own imprint, Underneath A Mountain Records, under exclusive license to eOne Music Canada; and internationally with Glassnote Records. The album’s lead single, Salvation, is currently sitting at #10 on the Alt Rock chart in Canada and has surpassed 2.5 million streams worldwide.

From the onset, the band – made up of Simon Ward (vocals, acoustic guitar), David Ritter (keys), Jeremy Drury (percussion), Isabel Ritchie (strings), Jon Hembrey (guitar) and Darryl James (bass) – received glowing praise from press and audiences across the globe. In 2017, they won the iHeartRadio Music award for Best New Alternative Rock Artist of the Year, and collected the JUNO Award for Single of the Year, ahead of Drake, The Weeknd and Shawn Mendes.

All concert-goers with tickets to the July 6^th event will be admitted into Arboretum grounds from 3:00 p.m. onwards, and can make use of and enjoy the lands, walking trails and waterfront access. Attendees are invited to arrive early and spend time in the beautiful natural setting before taking in the stellar lineup of live music.
