VAN WILLIAM SET TO SUPPORT FIRST AID KIT  ON NATIONAL TOUR

THE REVOLUTION EP AVAILABLE NOW VIA FANTASY RECORDS

Toronto, ON – October 12, 2017 – Songwriter and performer, Van William, known for the subversive artistry of his former acclaimed indie bands Port O’Brien and WATERS, will support acclaimed Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit on a national tour kicking off in January 2018. The 14-date tour will hit major markets across the U.S. and Canada. Additionally, Van will open for First Aid Kit today, Thursday, October 12^th, at the Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles and headline his own show at L.A.’s Bootleg Theater on November 14^th.  A complete list of tour dates is below. 

Van William's story is remarkable.  His experience as a commercial salmon fisherman working alongside his father every summer was beautifully captured amid the stunning beauty of Kodiak Island, Alaska by internationally noted photographer Silvia Grav. The short film is both an intimate look behind the making of Van’s recently released first ever solo work, The Revolution EP, and his emotional last summer fishing with his dad.  Watch, Introducing: Van William, here.
