Toronto, ON – March 3, 2023 – Today, Montreal trio, Le Couleur, share a fresh languid disco-pop track, Sentiments Nouveaux. Flirting with '80s nostalgia, the song reflects the search for a sensation, an exaltation, and desire to be on the edge. The single arrives ahead of Le Couleur's big return to South By Southwest Festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas this month. The trio will perform three shows, including: March 13 for the M4MTL x Investissement Québec showcase at Swan Dive (patio), March 15 at Icenhauer's, and March 17 at Hotel Vegas. Sentiments Nouveaux is a preview to the group's forthcoming album set to release this fall. It follows their 2020 album, Concorde, which emanates a vintage atmosphere, recalling the faded charm of 70s erotica, warm tones also rooted in psychedelia, disco, yéyé, and French chanson. The group has had the opportunity to share the stage with mentor and influence, Giorgio Moroder, which greatly inspired elements of their conceptual and applauded release.

Le Couleur, formed by Laurence Giroux-Do (vocals), Patrick Gosselin (bass), and Steeven Chouinard (drums), delivers rich and irresistibly danceable performances. Le Couleur first propelled themselves towards an electro-pop sound as bright as the lights of the now-defunct Studio 54, with the EPs Voyage Love (2013) and Dolce Désir (2015), followed by P.O.P. (2016), a critically acclaimed debut album.
